Mindset Mastery for Golfers

“Golf is a game that is played on a five-inch course — the distance between your ears.”
~Bobby Jones

You may have a love-hate relationship with golf. It’s common to feel frustrated when you perform inconsistently or hold yourself to too high a standard. It’s easy to judge yourself when you fail to meet your expectations.

Your mind may be too easily distracted and you can get caught up in over-thinking your shots. Or, if playing poorly, you may drop out of the game mentally and give up prematurely rather than rise to the challenge. You are likely enthusiastic, open-minded and curious about innovative ways to improve your game. You appreciate that golf demands mental toughness as well as physical ability, balance and soft hands.

You also appreciate that golf is a game that is more than a game. It develops character. You realize having the right attitude is important, but you don’t always know how to achieve this. Success can feel so fleeting at times.

I’m here to help you address these challenges, as well as improve your focus, enjoyment and confidence. You can let go of harsh internal criticism and impatience, calm your nerves and clear your mind. You will develop more feel around the greens and discover how mindfulness can help you cultivate more freedom to express your talent and play to your potential by trusting your swing. As you increase your self-awareness and diminish feelings of self-consciousness, your game will flourish.
